Al-Rafidain Dental Journal (RDENTJ) is a semiannual, double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal, a scholarly publication in the area of dentistry. All articles are available on the internet to all users immediately upon publication. All articles published in the RDENTJ are immediately available to read, download, and share. All manuscripts should be submitted through our online manuscript management system. The author should first register in our system and then submit their manuscript. Publishing under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY) license, which permits users to read, print, and download, or redistribute, translate, and download the article for text and data mining purposes, or reuse portions or extracts from the article in other works. Since 2001, this journal has been published by the College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul, Iraq. The Al-Rafidain Dental Journal publishes two issues per year (biannually), typically in March and September. Each issue contains peer-reviewed articles across the journal’s scope. The journal maintains a regular publishing schedule.
The referred scientific Journal deals with fields of dental sciences, and as an open-access journal, publishing an article in this journal requires an Article Processing Charge (APC) that will be billed to the submitting author following acceptance. There are no other fees (for example, submission, page, or color charges). The Article Processing Charge for the journal is 100.000 IQD for authors. No governmental or non-governmental organization financially supports the journal.
Al-Rafidain Dental Journal publishes original research papers in all dental fields, including periodontics, orthodontics, restorative and aesthetic dentistry, preventive and pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, oral medicine and pathology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, dental biomaterials, as well as clinically relevant oral biology and pharmacotherapy. The entire journal's archive is available online (since 2001), and archived issues from past years are publicly available on the journal's website for verification.
Editorial members are selected based on academic expertise, publication record, and relevant peer-review experience.
