Aim and Scope

Athar al-rafedain publishes original research papers, reviews archaeological studies and excavation reports. It is an open-access journal, open to all specialists in the field of archaeological studies, including academics and archaeologists working at the State Board for Antiquities and Heritage (SABAH). In addition, the journal publishes in the fields related to archaeology particularly those within the following specializations:
