Abstract

In this paper, we study the effect of using two independent stratifyingvariables on the approximate value of the variance of the stratified samplemean obtained by Al-Kassab and Al-Elemat [1]. Ten special cases areobtained and a comparison between these special cases is given using fourprobability distributions.
